What can I do to continue logging in despite losing my smartphone?
heylogin does not work without a smartphone, but you can take several precautions to continue logging in even if you lose your smartphone.
- You can generate a backup code in the heylogin mobile app. To do this, go to the 3-dot menu in the search field at the top of the app and select the option "Backup Code". You can use this code either analog or on an external data carrier. With this, you can transfer your account to a new device without the old smartphone.
- You can export your logins at any time. To do so, click on your username in the bottom left corner of the web app. Now click on "Settings" and select the option "Export". Your login data will now be exported as a CSV file. It is best to store them on an external data carrier.
